The Pearlies of St.Pancras support two important children’s charities, one providing for healthy children today and the other helping inspire young minds into living within a more sustainable future.
Who we are
The tradition of Pearly Kings and Queens originated in 19th Century Victorian London. They evolved from Coster Kings and Queens, who were elected as leaders of London’s street trading Costermongers, costard being an apple, monger being a seller.

We engage with all ages – from 8 to 80 – in lots of different ways, and always with the aim of raising fun and funds for our children’s futures through our adopted charities.
